Full Job Description
This Job will be to provide a Full Technical (Sound Lighting and Projection) at the theatre. To provide a full technical (sound, lighting and projection) service to users of the Theatre. To assist with "get-ins" and "get-outs" and technical rehearsals to ensure the best quality sound and lighting is provided. To support and deliver the technical requirements for each performance at the Century Theatre and liaise with incoming acts regarding the technical specifications/technical and staging requirements for their act/performance/hire. To ensure a safe working environment for Century Theatre artistes, hirers, customers and other staff, including volunteers. Deliver a high quality technical service adhering to all H&S regulations governing theatres. An enhanced DBS check is required for this post. - Relevant technical industry experience
- Experience of contributing to the creative process of production Running a variety of live performances
- Experience in performance event set ups in a theatrical environment
- Knowledge of theatre Lighting Theatre Sound/PA Equipment Electrical regulations Knowledge of health and safety
- Must be able to be to use your own initiative
- Work in a team and on your own
