Full Job Description

  • To be responsible for ensuring provision of high quality patient care in the perioperative period based on the latest available evidence based practice.
  • To line manage a group of staff performing appraisals, sickness management and disciplinary process as required.
  • To co-ordinate, provide management and organisation of the theatre environment. Acting as a role model and working with all members of the multi disciplinary team
  • You will be required to give supportive training and guidance to allow other to excel in delivering safe, high-quality patient care within an environment that values your skills.

    This post is a for a full time opportunity to join our general theatres department in the role of Theatre Team Leader for the specialities of ENT and Maxillofacial surgery. The successful candidate will have good knowledge and experience of the relevant specialities and will incorporate the full responsibilities of a Theatre Team Leader including line management of a team of staff. Applicant is expected to have at a minimum 2 years knowledge and equivalent experience working within the speciality (equivalent experience also considered).

    We are seeking a passionate and driven Theatre lead for our ENT/Max Facs theatres to be part of our dedicated leadership team, working full-time on a permanent basis. You will have the chance to shape your career while providing high-quality, patient-focused care in a flexible and varied inpatient theatre environment alongside leading a team of staff and having management responsibilities.
    • The ENT & Max Fac services within General Theatres is an expanding service within this hospital with innovative and evolving surgical procedures. The team is friendly, pro-active, supportive, and promotes an efficient and hard-working ethic.
