Full Job Description
We are looking for Theatre Support workers to join our amazing team at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital. Our Theatre support workers play an essential role in the smooth running of our theatres and help us maintain high quality patient care in an environment which is clean & safe.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our theatre team within Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust. There will be a rotation of shifts including nights and weekends.
You will be responsible for supporting your team in achieving the highest standards of patient care and as a valued team member you will demonstrate commitment to the role., Theatre support workers are part of our operating team who support the theatre staff. Participate as a member of the circulating team to assist the scrub practitioner during surgery and is reassuring for patients, who may be anxious about going into the operating theatre.
You will need a supportive & flexible approach to service delivery and participate in the movement of clean/dirty instrumentation throughout the theatre complex.
We are looking for a flexible team player with good communication skills and the ability to demonstrate and promote our Trust Values.
