Theatre Support Worker

Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in supporting the perioperative care of patients and ensuring the smooth running of theatre services across a range of surgical specialities., As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside Registered Nurses, Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) and Theatre Team Leaders to help deliver safe, effective and compassionate care to patients undergoing surgery. No two days are the same, and you will play an important role in ensuring our theatres run efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Your responsibilities will include supporting patients throughout their perioperative journey, assisting with patient transfers, preparing theatre environments and specialist equipment, undertaking circulating duties during procedures, acting as a runner between theatre areas, collecting blood products, supporting stock management, and helping to maintain a clean, safe and organised clinical environment. You will work across Theatre, Anaesthetic and Recovery areas, supporting a range of surgical specialities and contributing to the smooth running of the department.
