Are you a registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with acute experience in the NHS? Or, Are you a newly qualifying Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner who will be completing study in the next 6 months? If so, we are recruiting Theatre Practitioners with acute NHS experience across both our City and QMC Campuses at our May recruitment event. Our fantastic theatre teams are looking for highly motivated, innovative, and progressive individuals committed to the development of yourself, your team, and our changing services. You will be joining a pro-active, dynamic team of nurses and ODP's who offer the best standards of perioperative care. Every day is different - challenging but rewarding. Please note, that due to ongoing service developments the post holder may be required cross site at our other Theatre Complex with the agreement of the Speciality Team Leader.

Expectations to deliver a high standard of service with patient safety and quality are a priority. You should be able to demonstrate effective team working and work to the highest standards of evidence based practice. We practice multi-skilling and are looking to recruit a dynamic Practitioner who wishes to develop their practice in either anaesthetic and/or surgical scrub support. You will have a flexible attitude to work and be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team., NUH offers fantastic support to a diverse range of students and learners and therefore the successful applicant should either hold or be willing to work towards a mentorship qualification. Shift patterns and on call commitment will be dependent on the speciality you join. Please see the attached document for further information.
