Full Job Description

  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to clinical changes
  • Support airway management and effective pain control
  • Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues within the recovery team
  • Contribute to clinical governance, safety standards and continuous service improvement

    Current HCPC or NMC registration
  • Strong experience in recovery nursing within a complex acute hospital setting
  • Exposure to senior level responsibilities including team support and leadership
  • Knowledge of theatre safety, governance and best practice standards
  • Experience or familiarity with neuro and spinal patient pathways

    We're looking for a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Recovery to join our Theatre team at The Wellington Hospital.     • As a Senior Theatre Practitioner in Recovery, you'll play a vital role in the post operative journey. You'll work within a high performing team focused on safe, responsive patient care following anaesthesia. This is a setting where your clinical judgement is valued and your ability to lead, support and guide others makes a real difference to patient outcomes. You'll be trusted to manage airway support, pain control and patient monitoring while also contributing to team development and service improvements.
