Full Job Description

Reporting into the Team leader in theatre and to a Clinical lead, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • You will be expected to work within a self-contained theatre team on a daily basis.
  • Utilise clinical and risk assessment skills to maintain a safe environment.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care plans for children/young people and their familiespresenting for care within the framework of the nursing/theatre team.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure smooth patient pathways and optimal surgical outcomes.

    This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to develop in a specialist paediatric hospital, we are a motivated and friendly team driven to deliver the highest standard of care for our patients., Degree or Diploma Level Education as Registered Nurse or ODP(RN Child / RSCN)
  • Current registration with NMC/HCPC
  • Highly motivated, newly qualified welcome as well as experienced Band 5 Theatre Practitioners in Scrub and/or Anaesthetic areas, (rotation between the two areas for ODPs)
