Theatre Assistant

+ You will provide support and assistance within the operating department teams.
+ You will contribute to the support and care of patients under the direction of registered members of the clinical team.
+ It is a direct patient focus role, where you will collect patients for theatre and assist the registered staff to prepare the patient for their surgery.
+ You will support in theatre to providing care to patients and support the scrub practitioner to have the necessary equipment need for surgery., Along with supporting you to achieve your career goals we offer a generous pension scheme, unsocial hours payments (where applicable), 27 days annual leave on commencement (pro rata) and access to a range of NHS discounts. For this role you will need to have achieved your NHS care certificate. You will need to be able to demonstrate empathy, sensitivity and excellent communications skills.
