Full Job Description
Rate: £340-£355 per day (Inside IR35) We are seeking experienced Test Analysts to join a large-scale transformation programme within the UK public sector. This is a contracting role offering the opportunity to work on complex systems integration and end-to-end testing across multiple platforms in a hybrid working environment. Role Overview The successful candidates will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining structured test activities across SIT and UAT phases. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders, ensuring systems meet functional, integration, and data quality requirements. This role involves working across integrated healthcare or public sector systems, including interface validation and structured data testing. Key Responsibilities
- Develop test cases, scripts, and traceability matrices from requirements Execute SIT and UAT testing cycles across integrated systems Validate system-to-system data flows and end-to-end workflows
Perform HL7 interface testing (ADT messages and segment validation) Log, manage, and retest defects through resolution Validate data integrity across source and target systems Support UAT planning and stakeholder engagement sessions Maintain test evidence for audit and compliance purposes Collaborate with developers, SMEs, analysts, and stakeholders Participate in daily stand-ups and defect triage sessions Required Skills & Experience Strong experience as a Test Analyst in complex integration environments Hands-on experience in SIT and UAT testing Knowledge of HL7 messaging (ADT preferred) Experience validating data mapping and integration flows Strong defect management and documentation skills Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Desirable Experience in public sector or healthcare environments Familiarity with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Visio, Project) Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
