Test Analyst

Location: Howden (East Riding of Yorkshire), Brackmills Business Park, Northampton or Raunds, Northamptonshire Working Pattern: 4 days onsite, 1 day from home What you'll be doing - Planning and delivering testing activities across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid deliveries to ensure systems meet quality standards and business outcomes - Analysing requirements, designs and user stories to create risk-based test approaches and identify quality risks early - Designing, maintaining and executing test assets including test cases, exploratory testing and test data - Executing functional, system, integration and exploratory testing and providing clear quality feedback - Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure business readiness before release - Managing defects through their lifecycle, ensuring clear prioritisation, traceability and reporting - Working closely with delivery teams, business stakeholders and third-party partners to promote shared ownership of quality - Contributing

to continuous improvement of test processes, tooling, automation and AI-assisted testing approaches - Supporting new, seconded or consultant test team members where required What we need from you - Proven experience working in a software testing role - Strong understanding of the software development and test lifecycle - Experience testing within Agile and Waterfall environments - ISTQB / ISEB Foundation certification (or equivalent experience) - Experience using ALM tools such as Azure DevOps or Micro Focus ALM - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and effective prioritisation - Confident communicator, able to work collaboratively with delivery and business teams - A proactive, team-first approach with pride in delivering quality outcomes What we can offer you - Competitive salary and annual company bonus - Excellent pension scheme (company contribution of up to 12%) - 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy additional days - Staff Discount -
