Tesco Support Manager

With your skills, knowledge, and experience in retail, you'll play an important role in delivering an amazing shopping experience for our customers across our Tesco concession spaces. This is a unique role where you'll support and work closely with your teams, helping them succeed and ensuring our concession spaces always look their best. • Telford Extra
• Shrewsbury Extra
• Hanley Extra
• Longston Extra
• Stafford Extra
• Crewe Extra, Working in this field-based role, you will be responsible for managing multiple Tesco concessions within a defined geographical area, while reporting directly to an Area Manager.
In a role where you need to manage your own time and priorities, you will be a confident and hands-on individual who is comfortable travelling to and working in different locations. Leading a number of small teams you will represent The Entertainer, ensuring that your patch of Tesco concessions deliver the highest standards, from pricing to merchandising and planogram compliance, as well as managing and motivating the team in each concession location.,
• Day-to-day management of your Tesco store teams so that they deliver the best results, including the review cycle, absence and performance management.
• Oversee the recruitment, induction, and training processes of your Tesco Store teams and to encourage the personal development of individual team members.
• Ensure all internal communications are shared appropriately with your team and that tasks are executed within relevant timescales.
• Control and monitor store staffing resource using our digital scheduling tool Rotageek and ensuring that you deliver effective rotas in accordance with the weekly store budgeted hours.
  
  As a business ambassador operating in another large retailer's trading space,you will embody our company values, demonstrate strong commerciality in your thinking, and build strong relationships with the Tesco store and management team to help drive trading performance. In addition, you will be organised, thorough and able to prioritise your visits to deliver the best outcomes for your Tesco concession performance. You will also need to be flexible in your schedule to support a seven-day trading operation, including weekends.
As well as holding a UK driving license with a minimum of 12 months of driving experience, you will also need to live within or be able to relocate to a defined geographical area adjacent to the designated Tesco stores under your control. Skills & Experience
• A great leader with at least one year's experience in a retail store management or operational role.
• An experienced people manager who can build and develop great teams.
• Comfortable working alone and managing your own time and priorities.
• Strong merchandising skills with excellent commercial judgement.
• Ability to deliver accurate promotional layouts and planograms
