EXCLUSIVE ROLE

Are you a commercially minded procurement professional with a competitive edge and a genuine desire to win business?

This is a high-profile role sitting at the heart of the commercial function, acting as the link between Sales and Procurement to ensure major tender opportunities are priced competitively and delivered successfully.

Working on opportunities ranging from £250,000 to £13m, you'll play a key role in securing new business with major national accounts.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and assessing new business opportunities.
  • Leading Go/No Go decision-making processes.
  • Attending tender kick-off meetings and gathering key information.
  • Working closely with procurement and category teams to build competitive proposals.
  • Negotiating pricing and commercial terms with suppliers.
  • Developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Managing multiple tenders through to submission.
  • Supporting implementation and onboarding activities once business is won.

About You

We're keen to speak with individuals who have:

  • Procurement experience within a commercial environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • The ability to build credible relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive and determined approach with a genuine desire to win business.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Previous experience within tender management, bid management, procurement or commercial projects would be highly advantageous.

Why Apply?

This is a newly created role offering genuine visibility across the business and the opportunity to directly influence commercial success.

While expectations will be high and performance highly measurable, the rewards are significant. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their career within a large, successful group that actively promotes internal progression and long-term development.

If you're commercially driven, enjoy negotiating, and want a role where your contribution will have a visible impact on business growth, we'd love to hear from you.
