Tenancy Support Coordinator
Hybrid Homeworking with office based in Great Yarmouth
Part time, 34 hours a week, Monday – Friday
Starting Salary at £33,316 per annum, with future progression opportunities to £35,440 plus Essential Car User Allowance of £4,180 per annum (pro rata’d based on 34 hours per week)

About the role
We are looking for a committed, empathetic individual to support residents with a wide range of complex needs. This may include help with life skills, such as budgeting and managing a tenancy, as well as support with family or relationship breakdown, financial hardship, or tenancy breaches, enabling residents to maintain their tenancies or live independently. The role involves:
- Developing and delivering integrated support plans that empower residents to overcome challenges, reduce risks, and sustain their tenancies.
- Assessing the needs of residents whose tenancies may be at risk due to welfare benefit changes, tenancy breaches, or concerns about living conditions.
- Working openly with people to create a caring, structured environment where they feel able to explore their own challenges.
- Maintaining effective relationships with partner organisations, local authorities, and other agencies across the region.
- Providing support to our residents who are at risk due to Safeguarding, Domestic Abuse or Self-Neglect and Hoarding

About You
The successful candidate should be self-motivated and able to assist people in a practical way. They should have a relevant experience in housing management, social care, enforcement or community safety. They will have the ability to plan and deliver needs based and structured packages of support.
You will have experience of engaging, supporting and working with hard-to-reach residents and their families with complex needs. You will also have knowledge of the welfare benefit system, understanding of wider issues such as social care and criminal justice systems. You should have an awareness of these areas safeguarding policies and procedures, and community safety.
A full driving licence is essential, and a DBS Check will be required for this role.
