Full Job Description
As a member of our Leadership and Development Centre (LDC), you will play a key role in supporting our learning, development and apprenticeship activity. About the Role This varied and rewarding role provides administrative support across our Learning and Development Centre, including but not limited to aspects of apprenticeship administration. While knowledge of apprenticeship processes is beneficial, it is not essential-we welcome applicants with strong administrative experience and a willingness to learn. Working as part of a supportive team, you will:
- Process training requests and liaise with training providers.
- Maintain accurate records and data, including learning systems, monitoring spreadsheets and producing reports.
- Support the delivery and administration of apprenticeship programmes, including data entry onto the Individualised Learner Record (ILR).
- Provide high-quality customer service to staff, apprentices, partners and stakeholders.
- Assist with logistics such as room bookings, course commissions, mailbox management and event coordination.
- Support audit, inspection and quality assurance activity (including OFSTED, where applicable).
- Uphold confidentiality, professionalism and safeguarding responsibilities at all times. This is a role for someone who enjoys being organised, working with others, and supporting a busy learning environment.
- Experience working in an administrative role.
- Competence in ICT, especially Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, flexible approach.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and confidence in managing information.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
- A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. Qualifications:
- 4 GCSEs including English and Maths (or equivalent). Other Requirements:
- Full category B driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.
- Ability to attend occasional evening or weekend meetings/events.
