Temp to Perm - HGV Class 2 - Driver
Connect2Luton is hiring HGV Class 2 Drivers for Luton Borough Council.
Details:
- Location: Leagrave, Bedfordshire, GB, LU4 9
- Contract: Temp to Perm
- Start Date: 2026-10-07
- End Date: 2026-11-04
- Hours: 18 hours per week (HOUR rate)
Salary & Benefits:
- £18.00 per hour + overtime (time & ½ / double bank holidays)
- 37 hours guaranteed
- Immediate start
- Solid pay, steady work, chance to go permanent
- 4-day week (Tuesday to Friday)
The Job:
- Drive refuse trucks across Luton
- Work as part of a tight team
- Load bins & multi-drop rounds (hands-on role)
You'll Need:
- HGV Class 2 licence
- 12+ months experience
- Good work ethic & reliability
- Safety boots
