Full Job Description

We are recruiting a Telephonist to join our team in Bath on a part-time basis. You will provide a positive first link over the telephone between the client and the firm, always offering a consistently professional impression.,

  • To be an ambassador for the Firm & promote a consistent, professional image to all
  • To answer telephone calls promptly & efficiently via Teams link & transferring calls to the relevant member of staff
  • Ensuring availability of the staff member before transferring to Voicemail
  • When appropriate, taking clear and concise messages and passing on to the relevant person in a timely and effective manner
  • Timely updates and review of PPM forms, for previous callers
  • To always deal with all telephone calls with tact and discretion
  • Attend departmental and other meetings as and when required
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Client Contact Manager
  • You may be requested on occasion to cover reception breaks

    Minimum of 5 GCSE's A-C (including Maths and English)
  • Previous experience of working on an internal switchboard
  • Use of Teams advantageous
  • Customer services experience (would be an advantage)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands and juggle different tasks
  • Enthusiastic 'can do' approach to work
  • Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues in every part of the business
  • Ability to remain calm when under pressure
  • Ability to work as part of a team
