Full Job Description
Based at our Production Facility at Rotherwas, due to the continuing growth of the Manufacturing and Despatch departments, an opportunity has arisen for a TECHTEST LEAD DESPATCH OPERATIVE, to work in close association with the Production Management, and the Despatch Operations Controller, ensuring despatch targets and build standards are met and to provide support to the Despatch Department with the preparation of Techtest products for storage or despatch. Requisite capabilities: Although relevant experience would prove advantageous, it is not essential as comprehensive training will be provided. The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacture of Search and Rescue equipment and providing despatch cover and support in the event of absence or increased workload and ideally possess:
- Good organisational and communication skills and a sound work ethic.
- Full conversancy with Techtest build standards and to support robust operational and administrative controls. Other duties include but are not limited to:
- The generation and application of product labelling.
- The preparation of components for despatch or stock holding.
- Adherence to strict production paperwork and packing standards.
