Technology Delivery Manager

As our Technology Delivery Manager, you'll:

• Lead delivery across the Secure Networks and Servers squad, focusing the team on clear, achievable and cost-effective outcomes.
• Create delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements and critical paths across concurrent initiatives.
• Support squad and unit level planning practices such as Refinement, Sprint Planning and Big Room Planning by bringing together priorities, dependencies, capacity and delivery confidence across teams.
• Manage risks, issues, decisions and cross-squad or supplier dependencies, escalating constraints early and clearly.
• Provide transparent reporting on progress, priorities, risks, capacity and delivery confidence to senior stakeholders.
• Work with Architecture, Cyber Security, Service Management and operations to ensure solutions are secure, supportable and ready for service.
• Support change control, implementation planning, testing, deployment, operational readiness and handover.
• Build trusted relationships across Technology and the wider organisation, constructively challenging unclear or unrealistic demand.
  
  We're looking for an experienced Technology Delivery Manager to bring clarity to a complex delivery environment, balancing strategic transformation, essential maintenance, operational demand and cross-organisational dependencies., Proven experience as a Technology Delivery Manager, Programme Manager or similar within a technology-driven environment.
• Experience delivering infrastructure, networks, cloud, hosting, cyber security or business-critical technology services.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives with competing priorities, shared resources and complex dependencies.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches and tools such as Jira and Microsoft Planner.
• Strong risk, issue, dependency and stakeholder management, with the confidence to escalate and recommend realistic options.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate plans, progress, risks and decisions clearly.
• Experience managing budgets, financial tracking, suppliers and technology partners.
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery leadership.
