Full Job Description
The purpose of this job is to provide an efficient service for the daily operation, maintenance, repair, testing and commissioning of medical and surgical equipment used within all departments of Wye Valley NHS Trust as directed by the Medical Engineering and Medical Equipment Library Manager.
This role involves supporting the Medical Equipment Library, guiding MEL Library technicians when needed, and updating the Library's systems, processes, and procedures.
The time spent between Medical Engineering and Medical Equipment Library will depend on the priority and workload as decided by the manager from time to time., Working towards being professionally and technically competent in the role of Technician and to be able to work as part of the Medical Engineering and Medical Equipment Library team.To support the Department in ensuring that service is provided to agreed standards and meets current legislation and policies.
