Technician - Hair and Beauty

Why not join us as a Technician - Hair and Beauty? This is a part-time role, working 25.9 hours per week (Monday - Thursday), on a term-time only basis. Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare. Day to day duties of the role

• To supervise, advise and demonstrate technical skills to students and have an oversight of their use of resources.
• To source, stock and control the administration of resources and equipment to academic, support staff and learners.
• To maintain an inventory of all equipment, apparatus and resources and to organise the staff storage of equipment, apparatus and resources conforming with all relevant Health and Safety regulations.
• To operate equipment as required including loading of automatic washing and drying machines with laundry and use of detergents.
• To ensure a full laundry support the Hair and Beauty division.
  
  Previous experience of customer service.
• Understanding of stock control and/or purchasing systems.
• Understanding of Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy or Barbering.
• Ability to work independently, without direction.
