Full Job Description

At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a CNI Technical Services Manager to join our team at Warwick, supporting a critical national infrastructure environment aligned to a data centre operating model. You'll lead technical operations across a complex engineering estate where resilience, compliance and operational continuity are at the heart of everything we do.

Role Responsibilities

-Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team, ensuring high technical, safety and compliance standards.

-Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works, projects and specialist contractor activities.

-Provide technical oversight of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including power, cooling, UPS and standby generation systems.

-Ensure Safe Systems of Work, permits, isolations and higher-risk engineering activities are effectively managed.

-Work closely with the client to manage technical risk, support incident response and drive continuous improvement.

Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent technical experience within building services, electrical or mechanical engineering.

-Experience leading engineering teams within a critical, highly regulated or operationally complex environment.

-Strong understanding of engineering safety, statutory compliance, Safe Systems of Work and technical risk management.

What We're Looking For

-Experience within critical environments such as CNI, data centres, utilities, telecommunications, defence or energy.

-Ability to build strong relationships and provide clear technical advice to clients and stakeholders.

-Experience managing specialist contractors and maintenance delivery.

-Knowledge of asset lifecycle planning, reliability and operational resilience.

-Understanding of critical infrastructure including HV/LV systems, UPS, cooling, standby generation or BMS would be advantageous.
