Technical Officer - Environmental Protection

The technical officer provides specialist technical advice and support to ensure services are delivered effectively, safely and in compliance with relevant legislation, policies and standards in particular mainly in relation to private water supplies and cemeteries. The role involves collecting samples investigating issues, analysing information, liaising with stakeholders and maintaining accurate records, Liasing with funeral directors and the highways department to ensure that burials occur efficiently and on time within our cemeteries.
