Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a Band 4 Technical Instructor to support Occupational Therapists and wider Vocational Services team in the provision of high quality work, activity and therapy programmes specifically Woodwork, for patients within a high secure hospital. Skill specific support and supervision will be provided to staff within the OT Team and work may include some evenings and weekend working., Assist occupational therapists in the development and delivery of agreed specific individual and group therapeutic programmes within a woodworking environment.
Maintain appropriate levels of purposeful and therapeutic activity within the designated areas
Keep accurate, appropriate and contemporaneous patient records in accordance with the Forensic Information Governance Group and Trust policy
Contribute to the training of other staff as required.
Ensure the maintenance of a safe and secure treatment environment within a designated area.
