The Role
As a Technical Data Product Owner, you'll shape and deliver high-impact data products that enable better decision-making across the organisation.
You'll champion product ways of working within the data space, translating complex and ambiguous needs into a clear, prioritised roadmap that drives value. Working closely with data teams and business stakeholders, you'll ensure data is accessible, trusted and actionable.
Responsibilities
+ Define and own the vision, strategy and roadmap for data products, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and measurable outcomes
+ Act as the interface between business stakeholders, data engineering, BI and Data Science teams
+ Translate ambiguous business problems into well-defined product requirements and deliverables
+ Prioritise competing demands effectively, balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic goals
+ Champion product management best practices and agile ways of working within data teams
+ Ensure data platforms, pipelines and products are scalable, reliable and aligned with user needs
+ Drive adoption and engagement with data products across the organisation
+ Foster a strong understanding of data fluency, promoting a data-driven culture
+ Support, mentor and develop team members, contributing to a high-performing and collaborative environment
+ Continuously evaluate product performance, using metrics and feedback to iterate and improve outcomes
+ Proven experience in product management or product ownership, ideally within data or analytics environments
+ Strong understanding of data ecosystems, including data platforms, data warehousing, BI tools and data science workflows
+ Experience working with cross-functional technical teams, including data engineers, analysts and data scientists
+ Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and deliver against a roadmap
+ Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management frameworks
+ Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive insights
+ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
+ Discounts in over 7,000 retailers, discounted gym membership and discounted dental insurance (of course).
+ Health Trust - our bespoke employee private healthcare plan, providing healthcare cover with no medical underwriting for colleagues and their families.
+ Access to remote GP and nurse services, physiotherapy, and mental health support.
+ MyHealthcare Allowance, an annual allowance which is redeemable against a menu of Bupa healthcare products.
+ Early access to your earned wages through Wagestream.
+ Cycle to work scheme.
+ And many more, just ask…
