Full Job Description

Experteer Overview In this role you will coordinate the external consultant team across all project procurement stages and support the Project team to keep disciplines aligned. You will ensure integrated design and timely progress updates, checking drawings and supplier details while guiding Building Regulation approvals. You will actively resolve external consultant issues and keep stakeholders informed. You contribute to delivering developments that shape communities, aligning with Taylor Wimpey's mission of building homes that matter. Pay / Benefits

  • Coordinate external consultant team through Land & Planning, Commercial, Production, Sales and Adoptions Ensure multi-discipline alignment and check layout drawings and suppliers' details Assist obtaining Building Regulation approvals and communicate progress to internal teams Resolve issues arising from external consultants promptly Plan and clear planning conditions (S106) and prepare S73/S96a applications with changes as needed Prepare design tenders, review submissions, and appoint consultants per Operating Framework Maintain detailed design programme and produce coordinated drawing packages for tender/construction Lead design team meetings and secure Building Regulations Approvals Maintain environmental constraint awareness and ensure appropriate mitigation Manage CDM/EMS processes and ensure compliance throughout design Secure S278, S38, S104, S106, S185 agreements as necessary Maintain fee trackers and cost movement reports Support site queries and assist the site sales team with information accuracy Tasks Knowledge of the full development/technical process Experience as Assistant Technical Coordinator or Technical Coordinator within a development organisation Industry-related qualification Attained or working towards professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB, ICE, RIBA) Ability to work within tight deadlines and to programme accurately Ability to work under own initiative Excellent communication and teamwork Ability to manage external consultant teams and meet deadlines Key requirements retail discounts company funded life insurance private healthcare quality pension scheme with company contributions discounted house purchase scheme car leasing scheme
