Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced consultant to work with clients and other Deloitte teams across both advisory and delivery capacities, delivering large and complex initiatives across multiple functional groups in a high-demand environment. In this role, you may be expected to:

  • Collaborate closely with clients to deeply understand their business needs, challenges, and strategic objectives, translating these into clear, actionable, and technical requirements for AI and data solutions
  • Defining AI solutions that will shape our clients' future, developing transformation business case and roadmaps, and proving their value through solution proof of concepts
  • Support the end to end design of AI & data solutions through robust business analysis activities, including current state discovery, detailed data analysis & profiling and data flow mapping
  • Plan and conduct workshops to elicit, analyse, and document detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements, and translating them into clear, implementable technical specifications for development teams
  • Work with architects and developers to design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions, contributing to design discussions, assessing feasibility, and identifying risks and dependencies
  • Help clients articulate the 'why', 'what', and 'how' of leveraging data to achieve their business goals, focusing on data quality, integrity and strategic utilisation, and ensuring responsible use of institutional data, privacy, and security standards across client businesses
  • Work with on-shore and off-shore development teams, potentially managing their workloads, facilitating communication, and ensuring alignment to meet project deadlines within an Agile environment
  • Act as a key liaison between business and technical stakeholders, communicating complex technical concepts clearly and managing expectations, including to audiences unfamiliar with the technical intricacies of data and AI in decision-making

Demonstrate strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to dissect complex business problems, identify root causes, and approach challenges from multiple perspectives.
  • Proficiency in translating ambiguous business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable technical specifications and user stories for AI and data solutions
  • Knowledge of how data and analytics, including machine learning and AI, can be strategically leveraged to achieve wider business goals within an industry (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare, Government & public sector)
  • Experience in designing and documenting data flows, system integrations, and API specifications relevant to AI and data platforms
  • Experience in data manipulation, analysis and reporting of insights from large datasets using tools such as SQL, Python or R.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior business stakeholders, adjusting language and detail accordingly
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops, conduct interviews, and present findings and recommendations effectively
  • Experience working effectively within Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and potentially manage workloads of on-shore and off-shore development teams, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of high-quality AI and data solutions
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks) and their data and AI services (e.g., S3, Azure Data Lake, BigQuery, Azure ML, Vertex AI)
