Working alongside of the Manufacturing Engineers the Technical Author will ensure the work instructions our operators use to do their jobs are safety, efficient, quality focused and to the process. Furthermore, the Technical Author will own the SOP change approval process working with operations, quality, and engineering functions to ensure the SOPs are to the best standard. Job Title Technical Author Department Manufacturing Engineering Reports to Lead Manufacturing Engineer Key ResponsibilitiesTo create and maintain SOPs in accordance with:Health and SafetyDesign dataProcessQualityTo communicate with other key functions and

take on their feedback to improve our SOPs through the SOP change request processFeedback SOP change requests to the manufacturing engineering team to improve the production processRevising or rewriting existing technical literature Skills And Experience Required Experience writing technical literatureGood interpersonal skillsA positive attitude with an eagerness to learnHave a keen interest in manufacturing and engineeringAble to communicate effectivelyAptitude for learning new techniquesCapable of prioritising and multi-taskingCapable of working to agreed schedulesCapable of working as part of a multi-functional teamProficient in Microsoft officeAbility to articulate meaning Highly desirableCatia V5 experience (1 Year)Smarteam experienceBe able to read Engineering drawings Our Values Accountability We do the right thing and own our actions Collaboration We build trusted relationships and deliver through high performing teams Respect We develop our people and care for the
