Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to provide secretarial support within the Perinatal Mental Health Service.

The post holder should also demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work and be able to clearly communicate with colleagues, the general public and representatives from other hospitals and organisations. To work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team ensuring that there is appropriate communication with other professionals involved in the care of the child and mother.

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is passionate about promoting good mental health and wellbeing and we understand how important the first 1001 days are in an infant's life., This post will work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service which promotes a dynamic and innovative way of working, triaging and responding to referrals working closely with other team members to provide a holistic and bespoke approach to every family on our caseload.

The team is made up of a Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Peer Support Workers, Health Visitor, Nursery Nurses, CAP's, Social Workers, a Consultant Psychiatrist, Speciality Doctors, Psychologists and Health Visitors with the support of an admin team. The team also work closely with several System partners such as Health Visiting, Maternity Services and Safeguarding.

We're an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people's physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.

Over 4,000 people make up the Trust. This includes doctors, nurses, therapists, plus admin and support staff.

Approximately 568,000 people live here. A third of people who live in Cornwall are supported by acute hospital services in Devon. As a result, we also work closely with our partners in Devon. In the summer, and during other holidays lots of people choose to visit the area. This increases the numbers of people who use our services.
