Full Job Description
Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams (CRHTT) offer short-term crisis intervention for adults living within the Trust borough catchment areas. The aim of the service is to treat patients in the community with an intensive recovery-focused approach and prevent admission to hospital for patients being considered for acute hospital admission or to facilitate early discharge from hospital. We also provide support to carers and loved ones during this period. We are a multidisciplinary previously HTAS accredited team, who work closely with our colleagues in the community, acute inpatients wards and other sector organisations. We are passionate about providing person centred care, tailoring care plans to suit the needs of all individuals involved during the care spell and providing a range of psychosocial interventions. The Service operates a 24/7 service, with a Night Home Treatment Team service function .,
- Provide strong operational leadership and day-to-day management of the Richmond Home Treatment Team.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary workforce, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure delivery of high quality crisis assessment and home treatment interventions in line with national standards and best practice.
- Manage team performance, workforce planning, recruitment, supervision, and staff development.
- Monitor quality, safety, and performance indicators, implementing improvement initiatives where required.
- Work collaboratively with inpatient wards, community mental health teams, emergency services, primary care, and partner organisations.
- Ensure effective risk management and safeguarding practices across the service.
- Lead on service transformation and contribute to strategic developments within urgent and emergency mental health care pathways.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to deliver value for money and positive patient outcomes.
