Team Leader- Maternity Theatres

We are recruiting for a Team Leader-Maternity Theatres who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. The Registered ODP / Registered Nurse is a vital and valued role to support in providing high-quality, compassionate care to patient/clients and their families/carers within the clinical / peri-operative environment. Based within the theatre team they work closely the multi-disciplinary team in monitoring and maintaining policies, standards of nursing care, staff and service development. We have a new role available as Scrub Theatre Team Leader. This post requires candidates to have an all-round knowledge of elective (Vascular, Orthopaedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynae, Plastics, Robotics, ENT and General Surgery) and emergency procedures.to join our Scrub Team within theatres. We encourage you to embrace these values throughout the recruitment process and in your role with us.Main duties of the job The post holder will continuously maintain health, safety and control of Infection in clinical work areas. You will assist in the care for patients undergoing Elective & Emergency Caesarean Sections, You will receive, transfer and position patients for clinical procedures. The successful candidate will ensure equipment, supplies and waste is kept to a minimum. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and comfort of women. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with the multidisciplinary team, women and relatives. Plan, implement and evaluate the peri-operative care of the women as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
