We are seeking an exceptional Operational Team Leader to join our Children and Young People's autism service as we embark on the next stages of our ambitious transformation and service development.

You will play a pivotal role in the development of new pathways, driving quality improvements, embedding innovative ways of working and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centered service.

As Team Leader you will provide operational leadership to a skilled and dedicated multidisciplinary team. You will support staff to deliver high-quality autism assessments and intervention, champion continuous improvement and work collaboratively with families, education, health and social partners to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.

This role offers the opportunity to influence service development, mentor and develop colleagues, and contribute to strategic planning within a supportive and forward-thinking leadership team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder carries day to day responsibility for the operational management and delivery of a CYP Autism Service across South Staffordshire.

The post holder, with the support of the Service Manager, will hold delegated responsibility for the management of the service budget.

The post holder will have responsibility for ensuring performance within designated trust standards including clinical, key performance indicators and financial management targets.

The post holder will ensure that a high quality of service is delivered within this clinical area and that all National and Trust targets and standards are adhered to including the recording of information within the IT systems.
