Full Job Description
As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Locality Manager in the operational management and leadership of the Adult Social Care Team. You will be responsible for:
- Leading and motivating a team of social care professionals to ensure the delivery of excellent customer care
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of the team, including allocation of work and supervision of staff
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies
- Contributing to the strategic development and improvement of adult social care services
- Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to promote effective service delivery, This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies. This role involves regulated activity with adults at risk. As such, appointment is subject to anEnhanced DBS check with the relevant Barred List(s). In this post you will be required tomaintain continuous registration with the DBS Update Service for the duration of your employment. - Significant experience working in adult social care, with a strong understanding of the challenges and complexities involved
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, demonstrating the ability to inspire and support a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, service users, and external partners
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
