Job Title: Team Leader - Residential Children's Home

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire

Salary: £38,849.56 per annum

Employment Type: Full time

Service: Children's Home

Service Users: Children and young people with complex needs, including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

Qualifications Required:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards completion) essential
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification desirable

Experience Required:

  • At least 1 year of experience in residential childcare, ideally with previous supervisory or management experience

A committed and experienced Team Leader with a strong understanding of child development and trauma-informed practice. You'll need excellent planning, organisation and communication skills, a sound understanding of safeguarding procedures and relevant legal frameworks, and the resilience to stay calm and adaptable under pressure. A full UK driving licence and flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins, is essential.
