Full Job Description

The Role:We're looking for a hardworking, proactive Team Leader to coach and support our North Independent Lives team in delivering meaningful social care. This role requires someone who can think on their feet, solve day-to-day challenges independently, and take ownership of operational decisions without direct Service Manager support. You'll be the vital link between team members and management-driving quality, culture, and consistency while ensuring our customers live the lives they choose.,

  • Lead, support, and mentor your team
  • Promote dignity, inclusion, and person-centred care
  • Oversee quality through audits, medication checks, and supervisions
  • Act as the first point of contact for your team's day-to-day support
  • Manage rota planning and support care planning to maintain high standards
  • Provide out-of-hours support when needed
  • Work flexibly, including alternate weekends and sleep-ins
  • Support new referrals, including visits, tours, and assessments
  • Build strong relationships with professionals and landlords
  • Maintain Health & Safety standards and follow Leading Lives policies
  • Promote a positive, open, and supportive team culture
  • Work collaboratively with customers and professionals to shape services

    Level 3 in Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and IT skills
  • Experience in social care and a passion for people
  • A good work ethic and the drive to go the extra mile
  • Confidence to work independently and solve problems effectively, Delegation
