Full Job Description
The Role:We're looking for a hardworking, proactive Team Leader to coach and support our North Independent Lives team in delivering meaningful social care. This role requires someone who can think on their feet, solve day-to-day challenges independently, and take ownership of operational decisions without direct Service Manager support. You'll be the vital link between team members and management-driving quality, culture, and consistency while ensuring our customers live the lives they choose.,
- Lead, support, and mentor your team
- Promote dignity, inclusion, and person-centred care
- Oversee quality through audits, medication checks, and supervisions
- Act as the first point of contact for your team's day-to-day support
- Manage rota planning and support care planning to maintain high standards
- Provide out-of-hours support when needed
- Work flexibly, including alternate weekends and sleep-ins
- Support new referrals, including visits, tours, and assessments
- Build strong relationships with professionals and landlords
- Maintain Health & Safety standards and follow Leading Lives policies
- Promote a positive, open, and supportive team culture
- Work collaboratively with customers and professionals to shape services
Level 3 in Social Care (or equivalent) - Strong communication, leadership, and IT skills
- Experience in social care and a passion for people
- A good work ethic and the drive to go the extra mile
