We are excited to be recruiting a Team Leader for our Supported Living Service in Aldershot, designed with the highest standards in mind to provide exceptional care and support for individuals living with mental health problems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills along with the ability to provide direct, individual care and support as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will act as a key member of the team, supporting each individual in achievement of their planned outcomes. You will have the confidence to successfully lead others and demonstrate a positive and motivating attitude at all times, have the ability to deal with difficult/crisis situations with a high level of professionalism and in return you will be valued and encouraged to develop your skills further through our commitment to training and support.,

  • The Team leader will have the responsibility of working with the manager in offering a professional, flexible service to meet the above statement in a way where quality can be measured by both the individual receiving the service and those purchasing it on their behalf.
  • To ensure the delivery of a quality service designed to meet the individual needs of all service users.
  • Ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills, through training, experience and supervision.
  • To undertake clinical supervision to further develop competence and clinical practice.
  • Participate in the delivery of the service which takes into account all of the day to day operational requirements, and also quality measurements and monitoring.
  • Deputise for the manager, and be the responsible manager in their absence carrying out all the duties that this position entails.
  • To liaise effectively with all stakeholders in the care process, including carers and relatives, aspiring to provide an effective, seamless and integrated service to tenants.
  • To maintain accurate, legible records of care provided, based upon the care plan incorporating all relevant communication and liaison.
  • This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities. The post holder may be required to undertake other duties following appropriate discussion with their line manager.

  • Experience in a care setting
  • Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
  • Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)
