Full Job Description

Landmarc are seeking a proactive and hands-on TeamLeader to manage and support a team responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Pirbright Ranges Estate.This role involves a wide range of duties including grounds maintenance, preparing training areas for use, and managing access control.The successful candidate will lead by example, working closely with the team to ensure high standards and safe practices across the estate.,

  • Work as an active member of the team, with approximately 80% of your time spent on operational tasks alongside team members.
  • Manage stock levels and oversee the proper use and maintenance of plant and machinery.
  • Coordinate the allocation and handover of training areas, ensuring they are fit for purpose.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safe systems of work.
  • Conduct general maintenance and resource ordering.
  • Manage overtime in line with operational needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to maintain service excellence.
  • Work independently when required and be punctual and reliable.

    Ability to demonstrate leadership skills to motivate and support a team.
  • Knowledge of estate or facilities maintenance, groundskeeping, or a similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices, including manual handling, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
  • Good communication skills across all levels
  • Basic IT proficiency, including the use of Microsoft Office and databases.
  • Capable of operating plant machinery (training can be provided if required).
  • Willingness to undertake additional training as needed.
  • Full valid UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role.
