Full Job Description
We are excited to offer 2x part time Team coordinator positions within our Isle of Sheppey Community Day Services team (Crawford Centre), supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities whilst managing and overseeing operation of the service day-to-day.
As a Team Coordinator you will assist with the day-to-day supervision of staff, including the allocation of tasks, adherence to policy legislation and compliance. Whilst ensuring the service meets the needs and aspirations of people accessing the service.
You will be responsible for ensuring the individuals who attend the service are encouraged and supported in accordance with their 'About me' support plan, risk assessments and associated health needs.
You will be responsible for ensuring the staff team are regularly supervised, appropriately trained and inducted and deliver a high standard service.

You will receive:

- Training in Supervision, manual handling, medication, and other mandatory modules., This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
The successful applicant will have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social care, or equivalent, and the Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or willingness to work towards) as well as appropriate relevant experience of working with adults with disabilities.
