Full Job Description

  • Use & accurately populate the electronic record system (SystmOne) with information to include referrals, scanning & uploading information from other services in a timely manner etc., taking responsibility for the quality of the data & taking note of the Health Records Standards & Procedures & Record Keeping Policy
  • Follow agreed processes for dealing with emails on Outlook on a regular basis prioritising urgency & importance, signposting/dealing with queries (often sensitive) regarding issues arising
  • Attend & participate in team/other meetings, ensuring any actions are completed by the required date
  • Maintain current office policies & procedures, be actively involved in their development
  • Ensure that waiting lists and spreadsheets are updated frequently to ensure good housekeeping

    We are looking for a capable, helpful and enthusiastic key player to provide support to the medical staff within the team, as well as outside agencies. This will include handling calls, making appointments, and typing reports (AI reformatting and audio dictations). For this role, you will need to be a competent typist and computer user, with experience of working in a busy office. You will have a good working knowledge of the collation of data to evidence outcomes.
  • The successful candidate must have excellent time management skills and have a good knowledge and understanding of IT systems to enable you to work accurately to deadlines, sometimes under pressure, to use your own initiative, and be able to prioritize workloads. The role will be for 30 hours per week, working Pattern will be either a four day week with either a Wednesday or Thursday off or the hours spread over 5 days. Hours will be 09:00 am to 17:00pm, or can also be spread this over 5 days if that is preferred. It is essential to the service that a 17:00pm finish is required due to our core hours

    £25,760 to £27,476 a year Please note for part time hours the salary will be pro rata
