Are you an enthusiastic Administrator looking for a new challenge? Do you have an excellent eye for detail? Are you focussed on doing your job to the best of your ability and are comfortable working within a team and on your own initiative?, Provide a comprehensive administrative service to the multidisciplinary team by producing accurate letters, reports, and general correspondence from audio/verbal/handwritten/emailed requests from the multidisciplinary team to agreed timescales. Co-ordinate, prioritise and organise actions arising from correspondence.Booking appointments and meeting rooms as necessary.Ensure electronic filing is carried out to local and Trust protocols, within appropriate timescales. Maintaining confidentiality, sensitivity and tact when dealing with contentious and complex information in accordance with Trust Information Governance policies. Liaising with outside agencies, legal staff, Trust staff, service users and carers in a professional, kind and polite way, adhering to Trust values.Take, record and distribute accurate telephone messages, according to local procedure. Taking and transcribing accurate minutes of meetings, carrying out follow up actions.Update and record information/data onto the
Trust's electronic systems and databases as required within Trust key target times, e.g. Healthroster, Insights, RiO etc.Communicate with a range of internal and external medical and healthcare professionals regarding service users, Trust systems, and processes as appropriate and signposting people when required. Maintain positive relationships with outpatient and in-patient staff within Hampshire & IOW Healthcare Trust, other NHS and Local Authority Teams and care providers as appropriate.

The Learning Disability Service delivers excellent healthcare to adults with learning disabilities across the locality. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Administrator to provide flexible administrative support in the Intensive Support Team.

It is important you have excellent administration, communication and people management skills as this role entails communicating with a range of internal and external professionals and organisations, whilst always providing excellent customer service for all service users, their carers.

If you are conscientious, kind, have a flexible attitude, can juggle different tasks at the same time (such as audiotyping, minute taking, report/letter writing, phone calls/messages, diary management and data entry) then it is likely you have the skills we are looking for and we would love to hear from you.

The team fosters a strong supportive team approach, and training for this role is provided. A car is useful but not essential as driving to other team bases may be required to support meetings/training.
