Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced secretary/team administrator to work in a busy Integrated Autism Service The post holder will be the first point of contact for the service. The post holder mustpossessexcellent interpersonal skills and resources to respond appropriately to enquiries to the service from individuals, parents/carersand other professionals. The post holder will provide a high quality,comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Integrated Autism Service meeting the requirements of both the health and social care workforce within the service. This post is a fixed term/secondment for 9 months until 31st of March 2027 due to funding. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post., This post covers a range of administrative tasks to maintain a prompt and accurate patient records. You will be working with Clinicians, support staff and fellow Team administrator, The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
You will have excellent keyboard and be proficient in the use of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be required to use the patient recording systems WCCIS, to organise clinics (booking of rooms etc) and book patients into clinics. The ability to prioritise your work and be highly organised is paramount to this post as is excellent interpersonal communication skills, which includes a friendly telephone manner, whilst also providing a professional, sensitive manner and maintaining confidentiality at all times. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.,
- Keyboard skills to RSA III or equivalent secretarial experience
- Maths and English GCSE
- Computer literate with good understanding of software programmes
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of secretarial and administrative procedures and systems Desirable
- Knowledge of using CWS
- WelshPAS trained Experience Essential
- Experience of working in an administration or secretarial post Desirable
- Management of Waiting Lists Aptitude and Abilities Essential
- Possess excellent communication/telephone skills
- Ability to work with staff at all levels Desirable
- Time management skills
- Attention to detail Other Essential
- Ability to be independently mobile to meet the requirements of the service
- Ability to work on his/her own initiative in an often pressured and fast moving environment, Keyboard skills to RSA III or equivalent secretarial experience
