Applicants must hold NVQ Level 3 (or be working towards it) and have experience supporting children with autism in either a mainstream or specialist setting. We are looking for someone who is:

Excellent practitioner with high expectations for all children
Proven track record of working successfully with children with autism in a mainstream school or specialist provision.
Creative and adaptive in meeting individual needs
Open to new ideas, reflective and committed to continuous improvement
Willing to build strong, trusting relationships with families
Ready to "go the extra mile" to secure the best outcomes
A positive team player with strong communication skills
Friendly, approachable and emotionally intelligent
