Full Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our Faculty Teaching, Learning and Student Experience team as a Teaching and Learning Officer. This Grade 6 role offers an exciting opportunity to support education development, quality assurance, policy and procedure, and taught programme enhancement across the Faculty. You will work with colleagues across Schools, the Faculty and the wider University to improve services and place the student experience at the heart of our work. You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development, implementation, evaluation and monitoring of University and Faculty education policies, procedures and strategic priorities.
- Providing clear advice, guidance and training on teaching, learning and quality assurance matters.
- Supporting programme development, approval, enhancement and review, ensuring alignment with internal and external requirements. We welcome candidates who bring diverse perspectives, experiences and approaches to their work.
- Significant experience and current knowledge of quality assurance, programme enhancement, education development, or teaching and learning policy and practice in a Faculty or comparable setting.
- Experience of contributing to the development and implementation of policy or procedure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly to a range of audiences.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, together with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.
- Experience of developing guidance, resources or training for colleagues.
