Teaching & Learning Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, creative and highly motivated practitioner to support provision for two identified pupils with additional needs at Great Torrington Bluecoat C of E Primary School. The role will involve supporting them with their academic and social and emotional development and implementing specific learning programmes to help them fulfil their potential alongside their peers. You will require boundless energy and literacy and numeracy skills which are sufficiently developed to support a high achieving child throughout the remainder of his time at our school. A calm and patient nature and a sense of fun are also essential requirements for the post.

A willingness to undertake specialist training will be a distinct advantage. Applicants will need to be confident, resilient, flexible, organised and able to use their own initiative.
