Full Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled and proactive Level 3 Teaching Assistant with strong SEN and SEMH expertise to join our Pupil Learning Centre. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply committed to supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs, helping them develop emotionally, socially and academically. As a valued member of our nurturing and highly supportive team, you will work closely with the Lead Teacher to deliver personalised learning support, targeted interventions and high-quality pastoral care. You will play a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive and emotionally secure environment where every pupil feels understood, valued and able to make meaningful prog You will also be awarded a SEN allowance. You will be working 32.5 hours per week on a fixed term contract, across 39 weeks of the year-offering a great balance between work and personal life In this role, you will:
- Support the delivery of personalised teaching and learning in line with pupil needs.
- Provide emotional literacy and wellbeing interventions as a trained Teaching Assistant
- Contribute to individual learning plans, behaviour support, and pastoral provision.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality, consistent practice.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to help them grow in confidence and resilience.
- Promote the school's values and maintain high professional standards.
Is an effective, reflective practitioner with a passion for supporting pupils with additional or SEMH needs. - Has excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Is motivated, flexible and able to inspire and challenge pupils.
- Has experience in EYFS or early years environments (desirable).
- Holds a Level 3 TA qualification and SEN training.
