Fixed Term contract from 1st September 2026 for three months
Term-Time only plus 5 INSET Days (39 working weeks per year/45.05 paid weeks)
Part time working 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3.30pm
Salary: Grade 4 (SCP 6-7) £25,989 - £26,403 per annum pro rata
Actual salary: £18,205.72-£18,495.73 per annum

As a proud member of JTMAT, we are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team on a 3-month fixed-term basis from September 2026, with the potential for extension, dependant on business need.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide high-quality support for pupils, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. You will play an important role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing throughout the school day, working with individuals, small groups, and whole classes as required. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential, has excellent communication and teamwork skills, and is committed to making a positive impact every day. Experience in a similar role is desirable, along with a minimum Level 2 qualification relevant to supporting teaching and learning.
