Full Job Description
Thank you for your enquiry about the key post of Teaching Assistant at The Elmgreen School. We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work as part of our inclusion team who has a passion to see all students succeed and a commitment to ensuring that the students at The Elmgreen School share that passion. You should be able to demonstrate successful experience in supporting students in one or more of the following areas: Autistic Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, SpLD, Behaviour, Emotional and Social Difficulties or Deaf Learners.,
- To work under the instruction and guidance of teaching and senior staff to undertake work, care and support programmes, to enable access to learning for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
- To assist teachers and SEMH Resource Base Lead in the management of students working either in the classroom or with smaller groups of students or one to one.
