Full Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with a passion for seeing all students succeed and a commitment to ensuring that students share that passion to join our inclusion team. You should be able to demonstrate successful experience in supporting students in one or more of the following areas: Autistic Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, SpLD, behaviour, emotional and social difficulties, or Deaf learners. The Elmgreen School became part of the Dunraven Educational Trust in September 2021, and together, we are focused on developing an exciting, dynamic and progressive community focused on improving the outcomes for children and their families. Key Responsibilities
- working under the instruction and guidance of teaching and senior staff to undertake work, care and support programmes to enable access to learning for students with social, emotional and mental health needs;
- assisting teachers and the SEMH Resource Base Lead in the management of students, working either in the classroom, with smaller groups of students, or one-to-one.
