Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic team of professionals. You will perform a key role in supporting children's learning in all its aspects. You will be required to work with targeted groups and or classes and must have a good understanding of the principles of child development and learning processes.,

  • Hold a relevant Level 3 Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification (or willingness to work towards).
  • Minimum requirements are grade 4 (C) in Maths and English at GCSE.
  • Be experienced in working with children.
  • Confidently support colleagues during the wraparound care sessions.
  • Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of physical and personal development and well-being are achieved.
  • Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
  • Have some knowledge of different programmes or activities that could be used with a range of ages simultaneously.
  • Have the ethos and philosophy to build good relationships with children and parents.
  • Support daily routines in a stimulating and creative setting and help to provide rich experiences for our children.
  • Have a commitment to safeguarding and well-being of children.
  • Be able to use ICT to support learning.
