Full Job Description

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you'll provide dedicated support to an individual pupil, building a positive and trusting relationship that helps them feel confident, valued, and able to succeed both in and out of the classroom. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who understands the difference that patience, consistency, and encouragement can make to a young person's confidence, well being, and development. Based in a supportive school within the CF14 area, you'll play an important role in helping a pupil access learning, overcome barriers, and reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing dedicated one-to-one support throughout the school day.
  • Supporting the pupil's academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Adapting learning activities to suit individual needs.
  • Encouraging engagement, participation, and independence.
