Full Job Description
The teaching assistant role will be supporting the children and their learning under the direction of the class teacher - previous experience would be an advantage although training can be provided.
The midday supervisor role includes setting up, serving meals, clearing away the days lunches, supervising the children whilst they eat and then inside or outside during their playtime.
The role will require the successful candidate to meet the needs of every child and may include providing personal and intimate care in a respectful, dignified, and sensitive manner, supporting each child's comfort, wellbeing, and independence.
· Be passionate about children's learning and enjoy working with children.
· Be flexible, motivated and willing to adapt to the needs of a small village school.
· Have great enthusiasm, is reliable and has a positive attitude.
· Work alongside the class teacher as directed and ensure all children are engaged in their learning.
Monday to Friday
8.30am to 12.00pm, 1.00pm to 3.45pm (to include a 30 minute unpaid break - 5.75 hours a day)
